What is PEP?

promoting academic excellence since 1992

The Partnership for Educational Progress (PEP) promotes excellence in the Glenbard community schools in DuPage County. As a 501c3 Educational Foundation, we provide financial resources to foster and support learning for all students today and tomorrow.

Formed by community members in 1992, PEP continues its mission to be your local pathway to provide purpose-driven funds, educational enrichment programs, and large-scale projects for students, staff and faculty in the Glenbard feeder elementary schools and Glenbard District 87 High Schools through our fund partner and scholarship programs. Contact PEP to learn about ways you can support our public schools and students.

Partner Programs

PEP acts as a fiscal agent for several area organizations that are doing incredible work within the district to ensure students are prepared to succeed in school and that they have access to the best possible educational opportunities.

ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS OF THIS YEAR’S
PEP GLENBARD SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

PEP manages several scholarships awarded annually to students graduating from Glenbard High Schools. The scholarships are funded by gifts from alumni, friends and families in the Glenbard community. View the 2022 winners and consider supporting PEP today!

The INCubatoredu program at Glenbard High School District 87 is much like a classroom version of “Shark Tank,” where teams of students work together to create and fully develop a product or service, putting their thoughts and ideas into action by creating a business startup. In partnership with the College of Dupage, students receive dual credit for Entrepreneurship 1161.

In this fully authentic experience, business professionals volunteer as coaches and mentors for student teams, sharing their knowledge, expertise and experience with students. The year-long course culminates in a Final Pitch Contest to a board of advisors, who will award seed funding to teams with promising business ideas.
